And thank you Troy for making my day so special! :) Apparently Troy had a few things planned that didn't pan out because of the snow storm, but we improvised a little and had a great day together anyway.
Here are a few photos.... Started out with my very own ice cream cake! and way too many candles! We were a little worried the smoke detector might go off. Haha!
Then a trip to the zoo... with just a little fresh snow. :) 
Due to the snow, we had the place pretty much to ourselves, which was very cool! We even had the opportunity to hang out in the monkey house for awhile and watch them get fed, and chat with one of the members of the "animal care staff". She told is all their names, their ages, and all about the special programs they have for education, enrichment, helping increase the animal population for endangered species, etc. It was very fun!! 
Followed by a trip to the mall to buy a new pair of jeans with some of my birthday money! Thanks!! And then a homemade dinner. :) Wonderful day!

The fresh snow at the zoo photo is beautiful. It made me miss the snow for about 10 seconds.

Congratulations on such a fun birthday celebration! It looks like you had an awesome time. I thought the snow looked great at the zoo too! Very romantic looking...
