Since we've been home....

We've been having lots of fun since we got home.... a trip to the zoo, walking, cooking, lots of movie rentals, etc. We've been enjoying married life and getting accustomed to living in the same house.... although we still have lots of stuff to move in. :)

Today we went to the Jewish Arts Festival at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) to watch our dancers perform. The company performed 7 pieces over the course of a couple hours. In between shows, we had some food, browsed the booths, chatted with other board members, etc. It was a very fun afternoon! Troy came home with a Cheesecake all the way from Juniors in New York and I came home with this adorable hat. :) RWDC performing "Ballet Hands" a piece choreographed by the founder, Joan Woodbury.
Troy and I have been making more of an effort to get some exercise.... so, much to his chagrin, I made him go on a walk yesterday, despite the snow storm...

A few photos from our latest zoo trip...

Himal, the baby snow leopard is growing very quickly... its sometimes hard to tell him apart from his Mom, Nema. Himesh, the Dad was not on exhibit at this time. The baby amur tigers are growing VERY quickly and getting more playful and active each day.... Basha is the mom, and the 3 babies are named Vikenti, Bronovick, and Kiral (I have no idea on the spelling, by the way.) I think the one in the photo right below is Bronovich... he has the most white on his face. Kazek the Dad was very active this day as well, but we didnt manage to get any good photos of him. We rarely get to see the cougars up and about... they were very active on this afternoon.

This monkey was totally checking Troy out through the glass.... Baby Colobus Monkey.... he is growing very fast! He was completely white when he was born, but he is starting to get a little darker and a little more active. He is so fun to watch as he explores his surroundings.

On this day Troy and I had the privilege of getting married and sealed for all time and eternity in the LDS Temple in Newport Beach. It was such a wonderful day!

We were surrounded by many family members and friends and it was just perfect!

The ceremony was officiated by President Leif Parkin. He was the Stake President during my teenage years, and is now in the Temple Presidency. It was so great to have him perform the ceremony.
