catching up...

A couple weeks ago we went to Pocatello because several of the Burgoynes were speaking in sacrament meeting. Cameron, Troy and I cruised up Sunday morning and arrived just in time for a short hail storm. Haha! Anyway.... Henry was a little grouchy that day so I missed most of the talks but I heard part of Rich's and all of Tanya's. They both did an excellent job! Daniel and Matthew both gave me their talks at the house after church.... excellent jobs by both of them! I still haven't heard Joe's talk, but I was told he did an excellent job.

We didn't take many pictures of course... I've been a slacker lately on the photos, but I got a couple cute ones of Henry... and one of Cameron playing the piano. :)

St Patty's, BDays, etc.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Hope you all did something fun to celebrate... and that you didn't forget to wear your green! :)

P.S. Happy Birthday Askie! I can't believe he is 13 years old!

torn about what to do...

Troy and I checked on flights so that we can come for the Morris temple sealing next week... the flights actually aren't bad in terms of cost, but the times are just not coming together. I have a class on Wednesday that starts at 9 am, but the earliest flight that morning doesn't get in until almost 11. And the latest flight out Tuesday leaves while we will probably still be at the temple. So I checked flights in/out of LA... and there is an early morning flight on Wednesday that would get me back closer to the start of my class, but we'd have to be at the airport at about 5 am (leave NB at 4, get up a 3, etc etc).... not a good hour for Troy or I to be awake, and not pleasant for the poor soul stuck driving us. Haha! So...... still trying! :)

a couple more photos...

Emma and Barkley hanging out in the princess tent--
Henry and Jen hanging out at church--

photos...

Here are a few photos from our fun weekend with Troy's family...

Henry is growing into one adorable little chunker! He has the cutest smile and an adorable little giggle. We loved hanging out with him. :)

I think he is faking sleep to get some peace and quiet. Haha!

Uncle Troy is very entertaining as you can see from this adorable smile. And this is our newest "nephew" Barkley. He lives with Avery, Artie and Rosie at the Ottley's house. Haha! He is such a cutie!!

Did you know Derrick Bolton has a baby now?

Well, OK she is 19 now! Haha! Troy and I were at the Home and Garden show on Saturday, for the Blooming Hope Flower Auction (fundraiser for Primary Children's Medical Center) and we ran into Jim and Anne Bolton. :) It had been AGES since I had seen them but Jim recognized me and when I saw him looking at me, it just took me a minute to recognize them. It was great to introduce Troy to them too. :) Anyway.... they say hi to everyone!!

We had a great time at the flower auction, as always! We picked up some flowers for Tom's grave and something for Colleen too. And a small orange arrangement for me. :) Primary Children's Medical Center does such amazing things, we just couldn't resist bidding on a couple items.

The Burgoyne's were also in town for the weekend, which is always fun! I didn't take a lot of photos but we got a couple cute ones of Henry, who is growing way too fast! I will post those shortly. :)

We are still hoping to come down for the Morris family temple sealing, but flights are not working out very well time or cost wise so we shall see.... If we can't make it to CA, we will be at the temple dedication here so I suppose that's along the same line at least. :)

Symphony, Auction, etc...

We had a great time on our date to the Symphony! The pianist was amazing!!! And the after-party was at The New Yorker and it was great fun! We got to hang out with a bunch of friends, which we always love, and the food was delicious too!

Thanks Carly for the jewelry for the auction!! It's all gorgeous!

Now we are just counting down the days to the opening of our brand new Nordstrom this weekend! Can't wait! :) Perhaps now we won't miss South Coast Plaza quite so much...
